Programming Digital Trunks

Before You Begin

• Ensure that the required modules (Quad BRI Framer) are installed and programmed. Refer Program Controller Modules for more information.

• Ensure that Interconnect Restriction and Intercept Handling are programmed for each trunk.

Programming

To program digital trunks:

• Select the type of trunk you are programming and follow the instructions provided:

• T1/D4 trunks

• R2 trunks

• DASS II trunks

• MSDN/DPNSS trunks

• Embedded PRI/QSIG Trunks

• PRI/QSIG trunks

• Embedded BRI Trunks

• BRI trunks

• Direct Inward System Access (DISA) trunks

• For an EX Controller, from the Gateway Configuration Scripts form, select the trunk endpoint and follow the instructions provided in Execute Gateway Configuration Scripts
